First Two Weeks
We at Alan Ram’s Proactive Training Solutions are excited to be working with you! Now that everyone has gone through the first course and your dealership has kicked off, you only want to gain momentum! With momentum comes results, and results will come quickly when you do just a few things well.
First, be sure your people log in for 15-20 minutes daily. It’s critical, especially during these early days, to set the tone for consistency. It’s important to set the standard now. Your people are looking to you to see that you’re excited about the potential that this training brings to your dealership. Be sure that you, as Managers, are also logging in for 15-20 minutes each day. Don’t put it off, it’s important to start now.
You should also access the “Report Cards” on Adapt VT to make sure that everyone has started and is progressing through the material. Simply view “Report Cards,” highlight everyone, and select “Generate Report Cards.” Now you can see who has started, and, more than that, who hasn’t started that might need a little extra encouragement.
We also highly recommend that Managers keep call monitoring open on their desk top throughout the day. Just like you wouldn’t let your staff blow customers out on the showroom floor, you don’t want it happening on the telephone either. That’s good management. Also when your team knows that management is listening, their effort will naturally rise. As you listen to your sales calls you will hear improvement quickly, and improvement on inbound calls means that more customers will be walking through your front door.
Once you begin progressing and get farther along in the “Phone-Ups That Show Up” course, you’ll start a little bit of simulation in a group setting. That’ll happen in the coming weeks.
